Santander Credit Card
When you buy something on a credit card you used to get 30 days free insurance against loss, accidental damage or theft of that item. Unfortunately can’t find the terms and conditions for my Santander Credit Card but if my memory severs me correctly they stopped that insurance. Can anyone confirm whether your purchase is…

Say if I currently have an AMEX cashback card from a while ago, would i be able to apply for a new cashback card to take advantage of the 5% cashback intro rate? Or do I need to cancel my current card and reapply a new one after a certain period of time? Same question goes to those 0% card. Thank you in advance.

Vanquis cash advance charges
Apologies if this has already been answered, I did do a search and did not find anything. I have a Vanquis card, £250 credit limit which I have used, firstly I used £10 to place a bet on Bet365. Vanquis have told me that this is classed as a "cash transaction" and so I will be charged XX% interest on this. The next bit is…

HSBC being unreasonable, I think
Right, HSBC credit card - limit 4.5k - interest rate started at 15.9% apr. Interest rate went up twice ending up at 21.9%. At no time was I informed of these changes. In December last year, I called them to complain, as I had just printed off my latest statement. because I was wondering why my balance wasn't reducing as I…

Late payment = missed payment?
Hi all, I paid my visa bill one day late a few months ago (I thought online payments were instant but turns out they're not!), and got a charge on my next bill. Sorry if this is a dim question, but is this the same as a default/totally missed payment in credit score terms? Thank you!:)

Are there c/c providers who do not need an income, but offer 0% deals? Also how do I find out the amount per month I will need to repay each month ( would like to…

I have recently been accepted for a Barclaycard, with 0% for 13mths. I want to use this to transfer a £800 odd debt over from my Lloyds TSB, which has reached the end of its 0% offer. As Barclays have been generous with their limit, I can also transfer the balance of another card, on which I owe about £400. Now, my…

The Not So Nice People at Egg
What happened to customer service? I used to like the nice people at Egg, you could talk to them. I have had a card with Egg for many, many years, for the cashback, and also their great customer service. How times change! I came back from holiday and noticed my card was nearly up to it's limit, so I made a large payment…
