I used it to do some Xmas shopping and also to pay for a repair on my car and spent about £500 in 6 separate transactions. I have tried to use the card today and apparently the PIN is locked. My account is well within its credit limit. Would…

Is it possible to do a balance transfer into a bank account as one can with the mint card, but with the Amex Nectar card? On a side note - has anyone else who uses the card with online banking got the error message that online balance transfers aren't available at the moment?

Buying a car - 0% balance transfer vs loan?
I'm planning to buy a car and am trying to decide whether I should simply take out a low rate loan or go through the 0% balance transfer system. I'd need to borrow ~£9k, would pay it pack in 3-5 years and have a good credit rating. Could anyone advise me any advice on either route? :)

Has anyone here been given 'Payment Protection insurance' without asking for it?!
Hi I just activated my new Credit card. I was on the phone to an Indian call centre I think, and my phone is really crackly at the moment and the person at the other end sounded like they were a million miles away.. which they probably were actually come to think of it... I recently applied for the HBOS Union Card which had 0% on BT and purchases for 9 months. As the ts+cs were a bit allover the place with different webpages saying different things I called up Bank of Scotland and asked for clarification of the charges. The guy I spoke to said "there was no BT fee". I then went on and…

Beware - New ASDA 'Store' card (credit card)
Be aware that, if you are asked to sign up for the new Asda Card, and thus gain points for shopping and buying petrol, it is really a credit card with Mastercard. To earn the points you have to purchase items, thus ensuring not only points for use in the store, but also hefty charges if you don't clear the balance each…

Change in circumstances -potential affect on credit rating?
A couple of weeks ago I posted that as OH's natwest deal was coming to an end, and the new rate would be 20% (  ), we applied for a replacement. Unfortunately I should have remembered that the old adage of at first you don't succeed, try try again, doesn't do ones credit rating any good! Anyway since then…

My usual limits are 4 - 6k, apart from the latest, PO at 10k. I have never been turned down for my initial request. So has anyone with an OK limit been refused their initial…

Atrocious Customer Service from Egg
Since January 2006 they have added unwarranted interest charges twice. I always clear my balance. When I pointed this out through secure message the customer service department didn't look at the complaint but parroted a standard reply numerous times. It was obvious they hadn't actually read my complaint. In the finish I…
