Halifax overdraft charges are crippling me
I've had a £1000 overdraft with Halifax for years, gradually got further and further into it until I basically accepted I was going to be in it for the foreseeable! The charges are £1 a day for being in it, but if I go over the agreed £1000 limit I get charged £5 a day. After redundancy, then a heart infection putting me…

Alliance and Leicester Change to Overdraft Charges?
We have an A&L (Santander) Premier Direct account, the overdraft charges were always 50p a day up to £5 a month. This month they're changing us £8.50. Have they changed their charges recently? I don't recall getting a new T&Cs booklet recently so a bit baffled! The overdraft was the only reason we haven't switched for them…

Santander? GRRR!
Wages not in my account, contacted the bank, advised they are having problems with BACS, great! Have been advised that charges will be raised for DD's that have bounced and then refunded. Does this mean I will be charged and then refunded or will they remove the charges and not try and take anything out?
