If I been at my current address less than 3 years but on the electoral roll, do you think I would be able to open a current account with credit facilities and a debit card?

Joint account
Can you open a joint account with your son and specify if something happens to you, the account is passed to the survivor? I have read you can leave written instructions to that matter, but I do not know whether this is possible. I am wondering whether anybody has done it before!! Thanks

I want to open a few accounts for different spending purposes (e.g. one account for utility bills, one for salary, one for entertainment, etc...). Would opening a current account be better for different spending purposes or would a savings account be better?
