Broadband Unbundled tool
Why, when you offer a broadband deal am I then directed to your Broadband unbundled tool only for the offered deal not to be shown. I simply want to change my supplier to the offered deal. I would expect to click on the deal and be re directed to their site. Even more annoying is the first options that come up are…

Wanting to pay for my broadband, but Provider does not recognise me
Hello, Be gentle please, this is my first time on here. Over 18 months ago, yes 18 months, I joined BT Broadband fibre provider. All hooked up, everything working. Then when I never got a bill, I rang them 6 times over the following month or so, and they kept saying they have no record of me. I said that is impossible as…

Virgin Media - installation has taken 10 weeks now it’s been moved back by another 8 weeks.
- [ ] I’ve been having issues with Virgin Media for 10 weeks now. I first applied for broadband from Virgin at the beginning of March. Using an ad I saw on here. My place is a new property and doesn’t have a landline pre-installed. I get a call from a random mobile number and he says he’s a surveyor from Virgin and wants…

Uno or Aquiss I cant decide
Im moving from BT and have narrowed it down to the above two top 5 rated ISPs. Aquiss seem pricier for calls etc but I cant seem to be able to see anything about combining fibre and phones on Uno's website and Uno have cheaper overall call rates (but a stupid "transfer fee" of £13.50). Aquiss traffic shape and Uno dont.…

TalkTalk problems - again
At the beginning of the year, I moved up to a faster Broadband with TalkTalk. Received the new router but no joy with the Internet connection - hardly any speed when there was any sort of connection - phone was OK though. After 6 weeks of complaining to TalkTalk, I eventually got a visit from an OpenReach technician who…

Problems with BT - need advice
Hi, I've been having some problems with BT and could really use some advice. So essentially I was offered a job where there's 3 months training followed by a placement somewhere in the country. So I'll be getting short-term accommodation for 3 months (essentially living in someone else's house). I'm on a contract with BT,…

I am 14 months into a Plusnet contract and have another 4 months left. It appears I'll have to pay £100 plus a £30 fee to disconnect the line. I can…

Free Email Forwarding? - GoDaddy
Hey I've always had a domain hosted on 123-reg and email forwarding (ie having no email account connected to the domain) was pretty straightforward (and free). I've just moved to GoDaddy and can't see any way to access email forwarding (without paying for an email package). Any idea if its possible to get free email…

I haven't…

BT broadband... appalling service
I moved into a new property 3 months ago and we took out a new contract with BT for broadband and phone. Right from the get go, the internet connection has been pretty unreliable. It drops out numerous times throughout the day. We have been in contact with BT several times to try and fix the problem - we have had to change…

Virgin Haggle Fail.
Moving house and near end of contract (June) So I thought I would try to get a better deal - I have been a VM customer for over 12 years. Called 150 options > 1 > 4 > 5 and talked to an Indian called Lucas. I told him my contract is ending so want to hand in my notice. He asked for new address I thought I'll play hardball…

Is this a scam?
I just had a phone call on my landline. It was an automated voice saying my internet connection would be disconnected within 24 hours because the line had been compromised across several countries (can’t remember the exact words), and said to press 1 to speak to a technician. I just hung up as I presume this is a scam? Has…

Virgin FTTP/FTTH
Hey All Currently I have FTTH with Virgin, however some of their price increases are making me think again on who I should go to for Broadband. As a starting point, I was wondering what my options were with minimum disruption. Does anyone else provide FTTH that I could switch to?

Broadband contract threat
My ISP has been taken over and as I'm now out of contract they are insisting I sign a new 24 month contract or they will disconnect me. Can they do this?

Cheapest current basic broadband deal? plusnet?
Is it the plusnet offer from this thread? I am coming up to the end of last years £10 a month all in line/bb sky deal at the end of may so need to find alternatives/propose them to sky to see if they can make a counter. I just want as cheap as possible, don't care about speed, as long as it is basic and reliable.

Plusnet has added £10 to monthly charge because I told them I'm leaving due to recent price rise
I've been with Plusnet since early 2018, on an 18 month contract for phone and broadband, paying £18.99 per month. I received the email notifying of the £1 per month price rise on 12/04/2018 and phoned them on 24/04/2018 to tell them I had decided to find a new provider because of the price rise. I haven't arranged the…
