Universal credit.... second property as landlord
Hia, I’ve read that those who have a second property will not be able to make a claim for universal credit. My question is, does this still apply where your second property is one you rent out and make an income from as a landlord? Many thanks x

JSA processing time (new claim)
Hi all, I got some great advice here about a month ago, and I wondered if I ask for more! Does anyone know roughly how long the process/claim lead time is on new style JSA? I understand they must be incredibly busy, but I have not heard anything and just wondered if anyone had any idea how long it might take? Thank you so…

Direct Payment
Hi During lockdown I have received my benefits via direct payment. Due to the main post office in my area being closed I had to nominate my local po to receive my payments. For the past 3 month I’ve had problems with my payment as the po has told me it has no money to pay me. Usually this has lasted a couple of days but…

Housing Benefit Overpayment
I have just received a letter from a local council I used to reside in to say that I was overpaid just over £63 housing benefit and I should arrange to pay it. I queried this as I haven’t lived in that LA since 2018 and I was not in receipt of housing benefit from them since 2014. They wrote back to say it was from June…
