Is it time to switch from JSA to UC
I've been some what annoyed about the lack of the £20 uplift to JSA. Is it infact about time to give in and apply to UC or would I regret it? Do people think it's worth waiting to see if legacy benefits are also uprated or is it still not worth the hassle and 5 week wait.

Question about the end-date for all pre-existing Housing Benefit claims

Are there any advantages to applying for "new style" JSA along with UC opposed to just UC?
HI all,As the subject says - I was wondering if there are any benefits to the "new style" jsa as opposed to applying for UC only? I seem to remember back when it was income based / contributiion based, you got a bit more leeway as to what jobs you had to apply for. Is that still the case? Thanks.

Can anyone confirm this please about Council Tax Discounts?
I complained to Universal Credit that I could not get a discount from the council. According to the council website you can't claim for a discount if you are on UC as it is already "factored in". So why would UC ask me to contact the council surely they should know this already?
