can you add documentation to a universal credit claim after making it?

HI,

If I don't have all the needed documentation for a claim, should I wait until I've got it (and delay any payments) or should I apply now and "add" it later?

What kind of documentation do you mean? You need enough details to be able to submit the claim in the first place. The claim isn't submitted until you've filled in all the details and pressed Submit so you may as well start the form and see how far you get. No point delaying unless you really have to.
