Tonight: we reveal YouGov's first seat by seat projection of the campaign - suggests Tories fall 16 seats short of overall majority
Tonight's YouGov data, which will be updated daily between now and polling day, based on complex model and 7,000 sample over 7 days
https://twitter.com/SamCoatesTimes/status/869662208892030976It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -
No it doesn't by treating people the same the public can draw thier own conclusions. Although I don't think BBC are biased I don't think Corbyn will make a good Prime Minister and the fact that they scrutinise May doesn't alter that.
I dont think May will last long, if she does not increase the Conservative majority, she might get the sack.0 -

It's harsh on Jeremy Corbyn - he wasn't on top of his figures (not a good thing of course). Abbott was in a different league of cringe.
Actually, full respect to Corbyn for not wanting to get it wrong.
I'm very good with numbers generally but useless with figures unless they're in front of me and have been known to check something a number of times before giving it out to someone, so I can realistically see how I could be in that situation.
Also, why has nobody tried to press the Conservatives for figures? Trying to look at this impartially, I can see a lot of bias here. Labour have at least tried to put a number on things, where I can't see any effort from the Conservatives at all.💙💛 💔0 -

If the Tories dont win an overall majority is it conceivable that all the rest will combine together to stop Brexit or put it to another vote? Surely the LD would insist upon it and the SNP on both a no brexit and a inderef 2.
It is amazing to think in just a few weeks the polling has gone from May getting one of the biggest majorities in living memory to not getting a majority at all.
I live in a marginal and dont know how I will vote now, I dont want corbyn and I am mildly anti brexit and I dont have that positive of a feeling about May.0 -
Revenge is a dish best served cold. George Osborne uses his editorship of The London Evening Standard to put the knife into May:
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/george-osborne-theresa-may-election-campaign-disastrous-manifesto-history-conservatives-tory-labour-a7763631.htmlThe paper’s editorial said: “The Conservative campaign has meandered from an abortive attempt to launch a personality cult around Mrs May [sic] to the self-inflicted wound of the most disastrous manifesto in recent history and, after the atrocity in Manchester, shrill attacks on Mr Corbyn’s appeasement of terrorism.”
It went on: “The result can be summed up by what we imagine to be the conversation around the breakfast table in Downing Street: ‘Honey, I shrunk the poll lead’.”'I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father. Not screaming and terrified like his passengers.' (Bob Monkhouse).

lets look at some facts:
homelessness risen year on year since 2010 http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/homelessness-housing-households-shelter-london-england-a7111501.html
People using food banks are at a record high

nhs cuts blamed for 30,000 deaths in 2015 alone. further cuts are guaranteed

schools are worse off since conservatives took power
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-40051476
uk national debt has risen 555 Billion since 2010
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/the-uk-national-debt-has-risen-by-555-billion-since-2010-under-george-osborne-a6947661.html
SUMMARY
yes Labour will spend alot of money, however they will IMPROVE life within the UK. the facts above can be checked on a multitude of sites i can list a load more of these. If you really want a UK torn under impoverished life then by all means vote conservative.0 -
lets not forget also that firefighters have been cut by 6,700, prison service has been cut to near collapse.
Ofcourse the conservatives are also making the poor poorer
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/poor-uk-households-incomes-tory-benefits-cuts-dwp-conservatives-ifs-fiscal-studies-research-brexit-a7705556.html
The facts are simple, they do not care about the people, they care about business.0 -
If there is no significant change in the number of seats for each party from 2015 to 2017 (as seems possible) then that would be a knife to the heart of the idea of Tory economic prudence, as the 2017 election would have been one stonking great waste of money!
Theresa May is (at best) a mediocre politician and has been found out as such, hopefully just in time!'I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father. Not screaming and terrified like his passengers.' (Bob Monkhouse).
