Footie Widow/er or Super fan?

Are you a Euro 16 widow/er intent on getting as far away from the chant of the supporting fanfare as possible?

OR

Are you a banished footie fan, keen to take in as many matches as you can, hidden away, in front of a telly?

A: Get as far away from the tournament as possible
B: Indulge in as much Euro 16 game-time as you can
C: Not bothered either way

My OH isn't that bothered about it & neither am I.
We'll watch it - together - if there's nothing else on.

What is annoying is the 2pm kick offs though! On a weekday its not possible to go out to the pub and our next game is on Monday at 8pm i think so again we cant go out or have a large gathering because we've got to be up early in the morning :mad:

I've had every game on so far but only actively watched a handful. Mostly got it on in the background while I do other things.

I find tournament football can be a bit overrated as teams play not to lose.

Option D Footie window and chuffed to bits. Get to do loads of stuff while OH screams as the TV. Fab just can not wait to become an Olympic widow ha ha

I really don't get the obsession.. we run this way after a bag of wind.. and then we run back again... for what? 90 minutes is it?? I honestly cannot see the point.

We would rather sit and look at the 'test card' waiting for that girl to poke the clown in the eye.

I'll take option E. Neither of us have the remotes interest in football but we're not that keen on self harm either.

This is a little sexist - I'm a bloke, and I would literally rather do anything else than watch a group of skinny blokes play acting and kicking around a sack of wind. I don't appreciate the stereotype of the football loving beer drinker.

Nobody in our house likes watching sport of any kind. Consequently DH and I had a great afternoon out yesterday; the roads were really quiet.
