leg of Lamb £4 kg

Official MoneySavingExpert insert: Asda hasn't been able to tell us how long this offer's on for or what stock levels are currently like, so go quick if you want it.

We've also spotted a whole leg of lamb at Aldi and Morrison's for £3.99/Kg.

as title Asda have New Zealand leg of lamb at £4 kg, bought this last year and it was lovely, have mae sure I stock up this year as when the offer ends it goes to 7,50 kg, big difference.

I was in Asda yesterday and now kicking myself that I didn't buy any of the lamb, looked good. BUT I did buy almost £50 of YS meat and good value offers on fish (£7 per kg cod fillets, £9 per kg cod loin).

Any idea when the lamb offer ends?

I bought four at just under £8 each, but there were bigger ones, I live alone and this size suits me.

Sorry Asda never say how long an offer is on for I have missed out many times as even if going back next sometimes its finished, now I buy when I see an offer.

I bought one yesterday for £4 kg what a great deal for a whole leg of lamb.
Right next to the £4 kg was half leg of lamb for £7.50 kg. Seems stupid that the whole leg cheaper than the half leg.

But I'm not complaining got it for £6.80.

I noticed this too but think the half legs were British which is more expensive but lamb is lamb and I simply couldn't afford it at that price although I do try to support our own farmers when I can. My comfort zone for meat, fish cheese etc is £5 kg, so anything under is a bonus.
