i bought 5ltr all season screen wash a year ago from wilkinsons for £1.25 or something.0

Lidl winter screenwash is the bees knees. Superb.
I use it 50/50 with water and IMHO it's even better than the posh Sonax winter screenwash."Retail is for suckers"

Aye shall be buying some for this year0

Concur. Wilkos might be cheaper but the Lidl stuff is truly amazing stuff and well worth the price.
Used 50/50 the jets for the screen wash never froze in even the lowest temperatures0 -
Only buying if it smells of apples!
Seriously though, thanks for the headsup.0 -

After using both I can guarantee that any white label 'all season' screenwash will be nowhere near as good as the Lidl stuff. The five litres last me over a year and same as others I have had no frozen washers if used in the right concentrate.0 -
Not a big fan of this Lidl super duper -60 stuff. Tends to foam up quite badly I found. Once I ran out I had to flush quite a bit of warm water through the system to clear out all the froth!0

But again, it’s ‘All Season’ which might as well be code for ‘will freeze any anything below zero’. With winters getting harsher with lower temperatures I’ve not used anything other than Lidl stuff that has not frozen in the pipes.
I agree on the issue with foaming using Lidl’s wash but when it comes to winter that’s a small price to pay IMO.0 -
the wilkinson all season didnt have any temps written, the ECP does state it is suitable up to -8. Considering winters in this country only go as far as -5 I think it's good enough protection to be honest.
-36 and -70 celcius protection below, less than £2 per 5ltr
Note, ratings are used when neat. So I suppose you just divide the protection by the dilution ratio you use? eg. if you add 4ltr of water to 1 part screenwash then you divide the protection by 5. so the 70 degrees becomes 14
