I have received a renewal reminder from the AA regarding cover for another 12 months. I have joint cover (me and my partner) have Roadside, Home Start and Relay (get you home after a breakdown they cant fix) the total cost is £133 does this represent a keen rate - What do you pay ??

Threaten to leave, they'll lower it like that!
I am with Autosure now......0 -
Go through Topcashback - sure the cashback is around £50 on that amount. I renewed through RAC this year using tesco clubcard points. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

The AA are a bit cleverer than that ! - they offer part of my package as "complimentary" so that if I then try to get a quote through cashback sites you have to include the costings under each heading so in effect the total "new" cost would be far in excess of £133 so even with the "up to £50" cashback you would be worse off.0 -

I doubt the AA will match that even if you do manage to get any discount.
Note that AutoAid is a pay & reclaim service though, not free at point of use like the AA, RAC, etc."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Ring AA and ask for reduction, they dropped mine by 25% yesterday.
You only have to ask.

Think my renewl came in at £176 ( me and wife ) and was looking at AA web site and found if i was a NEW member it came in at £144.
Phoned them up and they offered to match it....said i wasnt happy and offered £120 or i'd go elsewhere....Bit of a bargin i think

well done!0

Not with the AA but RAC quoted me £178 for renewal (we have our caravan included). I called them and told them it was too expensive and they dropped it to £139 without me even having to threaten to leave.
I do like the cover they offer as you are covered even as a passenger in someone elses car so worth it for me.
