Thanks Foxglove's yes it does feel good to be under that mark psychologically. I agree about the cold feet stage. It's positively spring like today though

Hello
Thanks for starting us off LuckyPenny
Hope Legomum is ok, and it is just tech problems that are preventing her from posting etc
Today I have / will:
Posted 4 ebay parcels
Sold another item
Listed a few more bits
Went to sales unit - nothing sold over the weekend again I will stick it out till Christmas, then go online only I think!
Walked all journeys today, loaded up my trusty trolley with parcels
RM surveys tasks
A few online surveys
Soup made yesterday for lunch - still lots left!
Chicken and roasted veg in oven for dinner
Loaf in bread maker
Fruit out of freezer for tomorrow's breakfast
Rinsed out 2 ziploc bags and hung on line to dry - I always do this unless they have contained something messy, greasy or containing meat. These have only had uncooked veg and fruit in them. OH doesn't like me doing this, as he reckons the neighbours will think we are some kind of extreme frugal freaks. Do I care? I do not :rotfl:
Will light wood stove later, burning free waste wood at the moment Kettle will be steaming away for 'free' hot drinks this evening0 -
I always reuse ziplock bags too. I wash them, turn them inside out and place them over the spray bottle on the window sill. End of the day it's an eco friendly thing to do as well. Less plastic in the landfill has to be good." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Indeed  they collect it every two weeks all year round. We can take it to the tip but it means filling up the car and the petrol to get there and it's only open about two days a week because of cuts. I think it's poor though when others get it for free.
Lego mum is fine but not posting, but reading when she can0 -
ooooo I have to weigh in on the recycled bags debate since going on the "not buying it" challenge I have become very interested in not only not buying stuff but recycling as much as I possibly can to have the least (negative) impact I can on the world. I wash out all bags and use them again, including bags from bread. Our child minder must think I've gone bonkers! :DLittle factoid for you every single thing that has ever been made in plastic still exists :eek:DF as at 30/12/16
