I've been keeping an eye on expenditure but it's been a heavy month!!
Figures:
Groceries : £158.25
Household: £55.53
Petrol; £172.03
House Insurance: £115
Car Insurance: £230
Breakdown cover: £55
Car repairs (brakes) £170
DD's : £248.12
So, if my maths is correct (I've done this in my head so no guarantees! ) it comes to a grand total of £1149.43 so far!!
Admittedly, the insurances are annual and the brakes were an expense which I wasn't planning on but even so....what a nightmare!! :rotfl:0 -

Hi there
So with January finally over, I looked at my tracking sheet and nearly freaked out - then I remembered that I look after paying the bills for 3 properties & started to breath again.
I've not included mortgage or debt repayment below, because I'm paying as much as I can off those & want to use this challenge to see where I can cut down on the other spending. So here goes:
Staple Food - £33.66
Treat Food - £61.62
Toiletries - £1.50
Household goods - £17.86
Charity - £16.25
Gifts - £23.40
Petrol - £40.53
Car Stuff - £2.50
House Main/Utilities - £223.98. (1/3rd of actual total)
Health / Injury - £76.67
Entertainment - £35
#9 TOTAL FOR MONTH - £532.97
Definitely room for improvement - although food spend is way down on last year. I've managed to reduce my mobile, landline and broadband costs this month. Utilities are probably high due to winter heating and light.
Thanks for setting up this challenge - it is a real eye opener for me. There is no getting away from the facts of what you buy, when you write it all down - and then add it all up!LBM- June 2009 - 15 year plan started, Dec 2018 - time to review & refocus
SPC12 #33 £210. Xmas 2019 - #15 £365 / £365 ... PAYDBX 2019 #23: £0 / £3,400
MFW2019 #2: £6,999.67 / £8,000 MFiT-T5 start £95,352.52 - target £40k
No matter how far you go, you always take yourself with you0 -

Well, my hope for Feb being lighter on the spend didn't happen! Hey ho, still coming in within income though, so I'm declaring 4069.55 for Feb taking my ytd total to £7669.53 . It may be that I included some things this month that I didn't last month i.e. mortgage overpayment - but I'll include it going forward...
March is not going to be cheap either! hey ho...#70 12k in 2017:2408.28/12000
