I seem to be alone here in having no luck with greenmetropolis at all! I put loads of books on there last year. All in excellent condition and there was a good range of titles (fiction and non-fiction, bestsellers and more specialised stuff). I left them on there for months and not one book sold and I ended up selling them on Amazon.

I haven't sold many but at least its costing me nothing for them to be on there. I have tehm in a box at the egde of the loft so it and when they sell I can get at them easily. Its so little hassle to get them on there, thats what I love about the site. I must look into Amazon as suggested also.

I've sold nothing on greenmetropolis either, so haven't bothered to list anymore. I have a small but steady tunrmover on Amazon and just recently my sales on ebay have picked up a bit as well.

I think the more sites people use the better as different sites attract different buyers so something may sell well on one place and not on others.

I think Green Metropolis actually list on Amazon as well. Some books I've bought, when looking throught the Marketplace sellers, 'green_metropolis' is listed, and it says in their blurb about donating money to the forest.
We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment

Yes I'd noticed that as well.
