Sainsburys Employee Applying for credit card.

Will it increase my chances that im an employee or not because the mse free calculator says i have a 30% chance of a successful application but obviously it doesn't take into consideration that im an employee. I've checked the staff website and it doesnt seem to have any information on it.

No. Only if you were to make an application via your employer as a staff benefit.

I work for a bank and when I applied for a credit card with that bank, I was told I would be treated as a potential customer during the application stage and not an employee.

However, once I was approved for the card, they put a marker on it which gave me staff perks on the credit card.

The application will be treated as if you are not an employee.

You may get a lower APR once accepted if that is one of your staff perks.
