You're staying true to your title jwil. Hope you've still got your dining table clear. Great news that hubby is clearing another box of stuff! You're so brilliant. I can never get anything done with my two little ones. X

Thank you penny :) Yes, I know what you mean, most of it's not mine any more either, though I do still have a fair bit to go.

Yes, that's it. I read it on here somewhere. Not sure if it's true, but apparently they can do that if the full balance has not been settled. Mine was sold on beforehand so I don't know if that makes a difference.

Just googled and came up with this: https://beatmydebt.com/news-articles/can-a-bank-use-my-ppi-compensation-to-pay-off-debt

Looks like they can but you might be able to argue against it with a F&F. Mine was written off so I can't see how I'd have a claim.

Part of my debts were written off too and I have letters saying I owe nothing, so I think I'd be ok if I claimed PPI.

You're doing well on the decluttering front :).

Aww thank you :o It is so hard to get anything done with little ones. I only can if I leave the room or get up early before them! The dining table is still clear (most of the time!) :D

I've got that too with this one, so I'll keep my fingers crossed! Hopefully I will hear in the next week or so :)

I've just redeemed £15 amazon from a survey site.

I've also put in a complaint about some shoes I bought which have fallen apart after just a few months use.

If I get a chance today I'm going to investigate shoes as I need a new pair, and tumble driers. I'll then keep an eye out in case either come up on black friday deals.

I've just redeemed £50 for DH from you gov.

I've also set him up on Noddle to keep an eye on his credit record, as he got a letter yesterday saying he was one of those affected by the Equifax hack  Although I know it's meaningless, it's nice to see his score is 'excellent' considering mine :o
