Absolute bargain today - a pair of blue velvet TopShop boots (nearly new) for £4!! They're about £40 new I think.
And I got a pair of stone-coloured leather fat face boots off eBay (also hardly worn) for £11 inc p&p this week (the same pair I have in several colours because they're so comfy but they haven't stocked this season) - they arrived this morning and they're fab! Full-price they're £70 but sometimes reduce to £35 in the sale.
I'm currently on the lookout for a crystal ship's decanter for my OH who loves the one his parents have but doesn't want to spend a fortune on one - found one today but sadly it had a pewter neck so not really what he wants. I'm determined to find one at some point though!“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A. I'm determined to find one at some point though!
I P'in stuff that I really want (usually books!) and the fact I have done so and that it is stored somewhere readily accessible - ie my phone - means I'm more attuned to finding that said item. It's a means of priming my subconscious to look for it.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

A stunning purple Jacques Vert wool and cashmere coat that fits me perfectly for £10. Much more than I would normally part with in a chazzer but it's gorgeous. Just been Googling and found out it was originally £250!!0

Isn't it great when you set off to buy something from a proper shop and you find one in a chazza for a fraction of the proper price? Happened to me twice this week :j
Firstly, I was looking for a nylon, very lightweight overnight bag that could be stuffed into a suitcase for a forthcoming touring holiday where we will be without our main suitcases for one night. Could not believe my eyes when I found one in a box of shopping bags for 50p
Then, I was just about to buy some matt, pressed, face powder when I found a brand new Rimmel Stay Matte in just the right shade for £1, (currently £3.99 in Superdrug)
Best find this week tho has to be a B/N pair of black, Autograph, straight legged trousers - perfect fit for £3 (saw them in M & S a few weeks ago for £65)
Also got an Indigo, fine lawn & lace top for 50p (one selling on eBay for £15)
And a couple of B/N tops for 50p each - one wine coloured long sleeved T shirt by Isle and a white jersey & lace pyjama toppy thing by Nightingales
Everything from either the hospice or the community chazza.
Blimey, been a good week!!!0 -
A trip to Hereford today. The St Michael's Hospice is going to be refurbished so everything is £1.
Got some Steilmann trousers (no, I'd never heard of that make before). They're quite expensive online. Very soft, velvety cotton in a very dark purple. They're great!0 -

My favourite town to visit! There was less stock than normal, but think there might be a few days left yet.
My dad used to work in Hereford (so we could always get a lift as children). I live about 25-30 miles away!0
