Work today was nice, calm and relaxed, for a change :)

When I got home my food shopping was in the fridge and lovely tiger loaf waiting for me :D Yummm My mum had been to @sd@ and asked if I wanted anything, do I ..... :rotfl:must owe my mum around £8-£10, not bad considering its 11 days since I was paid and that's the 2nd lot of basic shopping i've had.

Total spent so far on food - around £12.00 :D happy with that.

Am pondering over whether to make a bigger than normal o/p, now my savings have recovered. after posting on Fresh Cottons diary - that this is what I would do, had I enough savings, so I have and I haven't yet :o all in the name of paying less interest :rotfl: Will ponder, some more, (my new name for dithering :p)

    Now, where's that o/p calculator.

1 Year since starting my Diary, here's how things look,

    Mortgage
June 2015 £37975.26 (tut tut - didn't have ocd then :rotfl:)
    June 2016 £27850.00 (have now, though) :D

    Interest
    June 2015 £4.13/day
    June 2016 £1.39/day

    LTV
    June 2015 47.47%
    June 2016 34.81%

    MF dates
    June 2015 - Feb 2030
Sept 2015 - Sept 2023 (new 2 year fixed term deal, mortgage taken over 8 years)
    June 2016 - July 2022

So keeping to my mortgage payment only, I would be MF in July 2022.
If I keep on o/p at same amount as I have been since Oct 2015 - I would be MF in Feb 2020 -My MF Target

Of course, well aware, that life gets in the way, interest rates change and emergencies hit plus as the next year starts I will not be allowed to o//p at the rate I have been this year, but at the moment, that's the way things are looking.

So as they say "Plod On".

Learnt a lot on here, and done a lot,

All extra ££'s - the bay, surveys, tcb, overtime, pay rise, bank switches, internet offer, walk to work (summer) to name a few all get paid into the mortgage.

    Lots more still to learn and chase, so this next year, hope to be a little more organised for;
    batch cooking
packed lunches - do this sometimes just now - need to do it more
    uniform refund - chase up
new internet deal - just now I pay - nothing
    more bank switches

and even more that I don't know about yet, but will find them along the way. Looking forward to the next year and hope it will be as good as the last for o/payments.

Quite pleased and dream of the figures I will be at on my 2nd Diary Anniversary.
