I think they were so efficient in my case because I had large outstanding balance. I saw few cases where SNC didn't offer anything and people had to send their complaint to FOS. Fingers crossed that you'll be lucky and get your refund.

Thank you! Maybe I should have not paid my balance off then!

Hi, Have you had any news on your PDUK refund yet??? I had an email last Monday with them offering me a refund. I sent of the acceptance letter straight away. It didn't mention how long it would take. I emailed them on Thursday asking how long it would take and they said they hadn't received my acceptance yet. They asked for a PDF copy to be emailed to them. I did that straight away but have heard nothing since! Would be nice if they gave out a date of payment.
I also had a refund from Wonga which i am yet to receive. I am nearly a week over the 14 days payment now. I spoke to them Friday and they sad it would be processed today and would take 3 - 5 working days for me to receive it.
Wonga paid me on day 5 of the 14 day payment period. PDUK did the exact same thing to me said they hadn't received my acceptance letter so I've emailed and not heard anything yet. I'm going to give them until Thursday then contact them again.

Both mine went in yesterday evening. PDUK took a week which was pretty good :j

I had my final response from Wonga last night (1 week before deadline). They have advised they are unable to uphold my complaint, so I am just about to refer it to FOS. I am in work at the moment so unable to call them, is it ok to send them an email, if so is there anything in particular I need to send them?

I do all my complaints online, very easy. I don't think they accept emails. You can fill in the form online and then when asked send FOS bank statements etc. Or if you have them handy in electronic format you can attach all necessary documentation to online form.

Payday UK have sent me an email today saying sorry they are still investigating my complaint and they haven't met their 8 week requirement.

They said in this case I can go straight to the Obudsman or I can wait. Did I read somewhere that if a company hasn't made a final decision after 8 weeks if they were to be brought to Obudsman it costs then a lot of money?

Thinking I could use this as a bargaining chip to get something out if them. I reckon I am owed maybe 100 quid for charges however I'd chance my arm for abit more if they are willing to listen

    Hi all,

I apologise if this has been asked already, but I had about 7 payday loans in 2010-2011 (very silly I know). I paid them all back in full but I can see that there have been successes with re-claiming money back from them. My question is, what exactly am i claiming for? Is it the interest fee's and do i just do this by email?

I had a successful PPI case with HSBC a few years ago so know that if they reject i can take up with the ombudsman but just a bit unsure as to what to write in email/letter.

Any help would be appreciated, i figure if i dont ask i dont get from these horrible companies.

    Thanks in advance
