Hi all
has the weak pound made flights more expensive? My annual flights to Philadelphia are over £200 more than they were at this point last year.. are they likely to go down?

Since you don't say when you're flying or what prices you are currently being offered, who knows. The longer between now and your flight, the bigger the chance that the price will drop at some point.0

Pricing varies dramatically throughout the year. More expensive fuel and a weaker pound don't help.
How much are BA Holidays charging for the same flights if you hire a car?0 -
apologies. i thought i had put the time of year down .. the end of sept!0

I think AA and BA have reduced capacity from last year.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

yeah BA have gone down from two flights to one flight back to the UK a day.
AA havent reduced.
I might have to fly delta. MAN haha0 -
We're flying to Philadelphia from Manchester next month, our regular route.
Just under £1000 for economy, a bit more than usual. We found last January considerably more expensive than usual. Check prices with AA and BA.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

Business class too can be of interest on that route.0 -
We have looked at Dublin, but didn't seem a big save with having to get there.
Just rechecked and no direct flights. I worry enough about my carbon footprint, so don't want to back to Heathrow!Member #14 of SKI-ers club

I think I read a rumour somewhere about AA pulling out of Manchester with BA coming in to replace them.
Nothing confirmed though.0 -
Have you been checking the prices since they were released about 8 months ago0
