Another day another list. It's sport's day today so I don't imagine I'll get a great deal done! I've started writing things to do at school on post it notes and it's great screwing them up and binning them when I've done a job!

    Today I will:
[STRIKE]Talk to mum & dad re: houses
Sort out a red box of resources
Read 2 chapters of my book
    Have a shower
Sort out a set of purple drawers
Clear the top of my big cupboard[/strike]
Tidy bottom shelves of big cupboard
    [strike]Spend time doing assessments[/STRIKE]
[strike]complete and hand in phonics tracker[/strike]

    Have a good Tuesday all

    Also to add...
    Sort out travel insurance
    Pay for hen night tshirt

Hi Kayleigh, thank you for starting up this thread again! I found the first one really helpful - I hope all is well with fairyclicks, whatever she's up to now!

I have a few goals to aim towards, some money-related and some health-related - I really needed to lose a stone and a half and am about a third of the way there. Couldn't shift any weight but have started a low carb/ high protein diet which seems to be helping, plus have bought a Fitbit for some motivation :-)

I'm also trying to get some ideas of what I could grow in the garden, as we've just cleared a space for some veg - I am terrible though, not green fingered at all!!
Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j

It's very quiet on here recently. I hope everyone is out enjoying the sun!

I'm now on holiday from school and starting a new job in September. I want to get organised so I can start as I mean to go on, though I don't really know what I need to do until I've met with the other Early Year staff as we share the provision.

So a list for today (which I have started to complete)
[strike]Get up relatively early [/strike] (I think 9 is reasonably for the first day of the holidays!)
    [strike]Put lego away
Pay cash bags into bank and building society
Set up Standing order to savings account and finally start properly saving[/strike]
    [strike]Diary
Sort through one pile of magazines [/strike] (recipe) -opted for scout ones instead
    [strike]Have a bath
Go cycling/running - not sure which will be the lesser of 2 evils in this heat![/strike]
    Wii fit
Watch one of unwatched DVDs - watched 2 for getting rid of instead of unwatched
[strike]Eat lunch and read book in garden
Decide what to cook for tea and buy bits[/strike]
Decide what I want to do with the holidays!
Sort out school books (I have so many and they're in various piles around the house)
    [strike]adpoints
    Swagbucks
    [/strike]
That should keep me busy for a while. I want to feel like I've actually achieved something these holidays rather than waste my time doing nothing!

    Hi,

I won't bother with a great, long apology this time, unless anyone really wants to hear it. I'll just get on with my list and try not to disappear for that long again.

    [STRIKE]Put washing on to dry.[/STRIKE] Done. :D
    [STRIKE]Shower.[/STRIKE] Done. :D
    [STRIKE]Go to library.[/STRIKE] Done. :D
    [STRIKE]Post letter to StepChange.[/STRIKE] Done. :D
[STRIKE]Take tenancy agreement into council office.[/STRIKE] Done. :D
[STRIKE]Ask about council tax benefit change.[/STRIKE] Done. :D
    [STRIKE]Go food shopping.[/STRIKE] Done. :D
    [STRIKE]Cleaning products pickup X2.[/STRIKE] Done. :D
[STRIKE]Stay awake until 9pm to reset sleeping pattern.[/STRIKE] Done.

A small list for today as the last item is my main priority so I might end up taking it easy by the end of the day to manage it.

OH is working from home today before we go to look at some houses. So my list is pretty short...keep him supplied with cups of tea! A couple of little things to do but nothing too major! There'll be a pretty long list tomorrow as I try to get my room at home sorted out!

Again, this thread is has turned up at the right time.

I am on holidays, eating rubbish and sleeping badly. Had a week off already was meant to be out in the garden! nope.....have had fun visiting friends but am avoiding the big things.

    so today.

    1. clear some of the nettles round the shed
    2. chuck lots of stuff - old pots
    3. do some weeding.
    4. find the bird table and burny thing to put out in the garden.

    That's it
    XX
am going to empty the shed.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Again, I seem to have disappeared for a long time. I've just come back from a week staying with family though so I'm reasonably well rested. I've decided to set myself a challenge to post on this thread every day for a month to try and get into the habit of doing so. I'm going to start by doing my list for each day the night before so that I'm motivated to start first thing in the morning, although I might change that later on once I get into the swing of things.

@Buffy - I hope your gardening went well. If you want, you could join me on the one month challenge and we could keep each other motivated. :)

So, here's my list for tomorrow.

[STRIKE]Get up when alarm goes off.[/STRIKE] Well, that didnt go too well...
    [STRIKE]Buy breakdown cover.[/STRIKE] Done. :D
[STRIKE]Take out 1 bag of paper and plastic and 1 of cardboard for recycling.[/STRIKE] Done. :D
    [STRIKE]Change prescription at Boots.[/STRIKE] Done. :D
    [STRIKE]Get 7 £1 postal orders from Post Office.[/STRIKE] Done. :D
[STRIKE]Call in at Beyond the Kale and see if they need any more cleaning products.[/STRIKE] Done. :D
[STRIKE]Request new PIN and query charges at NatWest.[/STRIKE] Done. :D
[STRIKE]Request new card and PIN at Co-op Bank (remember passport for ID).[/STRIKE] Done. :D
[STRIKE]Buy cheap backup phone at O2 shop.
    [/STRIKE] Done. :D
That should be more than enough for one day.

    Hi,

My dad came down today to drop off my new car so I wasn't able to write my list earlier today. I still got quite a few things done though.

    [STRIKE]Clean mini oven.[/STRIKE] Done. :D
    [STRIKE]Wash pots.[/STRIKE] Done. :D
    [STRIKE]Don't argue with dad.[/STRIKE] Done. :D
    [STRIKE]Wash bathmat.[/STRIKE] Done. :D
    [STRIKE]Try out Newbridge Park & Ride.[/STRIKE] Done. :D
    [STRIKE]Buy stamps.[/STRIKE] Done. :D
    [STRIKE]Buy milk.[/STRIKE] Done. :D
    [STRIKE]Place matched bet with Totesport.[/STRIKE] Done. :D

Not a bad list for a day I didn't think I'd get anything done on.

    Great timing GMLM XXX

I did get the gardening done, quite nice looking back at that list and realising yes I did it,

I must confess I weeded the flower beds and ignored the nettles, but actually the garden looks really good.

yes posting here would be a good idea :)

shall go think about a list XXX
    Nevertheless she persisted.
