  • This thread helped me enormously! But I forgot to come back! Work days aren't an issue for me as I'm very structured but I'm a terrible procrastinator at other times! In fact I got everything on Sunday's list done except the studying, as well as a few extra bits :)

I think I need a weekly list Mon - Fri so this week I will:

Keep on top of the washing
Chase an FOS complaint I made
Call about an ancient refund I never received
Take the kids to the park
Get packed lunches made each night
    2 hours of studying
Wardrobe sort out for eBay Toiletry inventory (not really sure what I still have from the Boots 70% sale last January)
Celebrate being prescription free for the first time since May 2013 :j

Ooh can I sneak batch cook on my list? DH bought far too much mince so instead of cramming it into one giant lasagne I've made two extra individual ones too for freezing :)

Success with the refund! I was owed £44 from a water bill after moving house back in 2006 and the cheque is on the way :j not much but it'll mean DH will get his birthday gift on time and not 3 days after when I get paid :)

Maybe this is the thread for me. I am a terrible procrastinator, causes me more problems than enough, I leave everything till the last minute.

A bright early start to the day. I made a list at work last night so hopefully will get plenty of it done. I didn't take any stuff home last night because I went to OH's so there was little point taking it to bring it back again.

I will admit some of these jobs will be delegated to others but if they get done that's the main thing:

[STRIKE]Stick children's writing onto report sheets
Tidy top and[/STRIKE] inside of grey cupboard
    Tidy top of desk
    Tidy under desk
Self portrait of child who was absent
    Finish making wands
[STRIKE]Start washing toys (under supervision so sand is not put in water tray)
    Read Hansel and Gretel
Sort 2 bags to take home on Friday
    Handwriting sheets[/STRIKE]
    [strike]List for library competition[/strike]
    Finish pics for library competition
    [STRIKE]Top up creative area[/STRIKE]
    Take photos for reports
Put photos on report front sheets
    Half termly assessments
[STRIKE]Read Nursery Education magazine for outdoors ideas[/STRIKE]
    Read 2 chapters of book
    [STRIKE]Shower
    Lunch for tomorrow[/STRIKE]
Go for a short walk (aim to improve fitness so I can cycle occasionally up hill!)

It all went a bit bonkers today and I ended up spending a lot of the day playing out on the field in the sun with 60children. Means that I didn't get as much done as planned. These will have to roll over until Friday as school is closed tomorrow and I'm going to my new school for the day!

    Hi :hello:
    My list for today is
    • Finish DS room - proving much too difficult, or am I just too good at procrastinating?
    • Do 4 loads washing - [COLOR="rgb(139, 0, 0)"]only got 3 done[/COLOR]
    • [STRIKE]Reach target 1 on swagbucks[/STRIKE]
    • Go to beauticians for a long overdue eyebrow wax
that's it, small enough list, but ds room is proving to be difficult, if I could just dump the stuff without feeling guilty, the battle would be won!!
    Credit card €7892.36/€ 0
    Catalogues €767.52/€ 0
    hospital costs €550
    wtshtf fund 0/ €2000
    #13 1% challenge - 0
  • Sorry for disappearing on you all again, though you all seem to be doing ok without me. :) Yes, this is definitely a thread for procrastinators, I'm absolutely terrible for putting things off! :D

No list for today as I've spent the last 5 hours on the phone to various utility companies, mainly British Gas, chasing up a matter that I thought was resolved months ago and I'm about ready to drop by now.
