Although OH does the vast majority of the cooking on Christmas day I do a few bits to lighten the load.

    - HM Christmas cake iced and decorated today
    - Sprouts will be prepped and stuck in a Lock and Lock in the fridge
    - Carrots peeled and left in water
    - Mash (sweet potato and white mixed half and half) already made
    - Cranberry sauce was done yesterday
    - Cauli and broccoli are washed and cut into florets and in Lock and Lock in fridge
    - Bread sauce in fridge
    - Swede mashed and in individual portions in freezer
    - Mince pies were made a fortnight ago and in the freezer

Parsnips, roasties, cabbage, stuffing balls and meat will all be done tomorrow by OH and I'll do the individual trifles

I have made the pigs in blankets and the stuffing balls, but only because we love them cold as well for the coming days so I make lots. No need to panic, its only a roast dinner. The pudding will go in the slow cooker to avoid the steam, and them after thats done the gammon joint will go in there over night ready for boxing day.

i'm all prepped but that's because the turkey joint is pre stuffed and ready to cook, as is the tray of roasted veg and potatoes. Low maintenance but it's only for a few so not worth a whole lot more pomp!

Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
