Given that many BB users are business users, I'm sure they will be thrilled with the offer of free apps :rotfl: also, many big companies who issue BB to their employees restrict what can be installed on them.

I've always said that any person or company can make mistakes and the real measure of them is how they deal with those mistakes. Blackberry aren't doing great by this score; this seems like very slim compensation for people who lost a business service they relied upon and who might not be interested in any of the apps.

For a company with two CEOs, you'd think one of them at least would have a good idea every now and again.

  • I have a slightly older BlackBerry, and I bet none of those programs will even work on mine. The Sims 3 definitely will not.

In your situation, I'd try to find the CEO(s) email address and fire off a polite complaint... Free "entertainment" apps might be good enough for the teenagers but is frankly a poor offering IMO for everyone else.

Lol. Given how many employees have company BB, and how widespread their use is in the business community in general, I think they by far outweigh the teenage user base ;)

I got sent £20 from my mobile phone company (Tesco) for the inconvenience of blackberry not working plus problems during the set up of the phone. It's new.

What they didn't realise was that I couldn't use my phone that week anyway. I had accidentally dropped it in a glass of water and it was on the radiator for several days drying out!

What apps should I go for? I've never had a phone that had apps before! Is there a scuba diving app? My phone needs it!!!!

I am struggling to download any apps because I can't login with my blackberry email and pin for some reason. That was the problem I rang Tesco about in the first place and it still isn't really sorted out. No-one can tell me how to find my email and pin. The ones they give me every time don't work!
