Kleeneze can be very expensive to get a round established as you have to pay for the books and stationery (not forgetting the books are updated regularly).
Until you get regular customers it also involves returning at different times of day to try to get the books back as a lot of people 'forget' to leave them out. Evening work is essential for both collecting books and delivering customers purchases so be prepared for that.
Once you have a decent round established you can then start to recruit others and you will get a percentage of their sales and it is at this time that you will start to see a return on your investment.

I tried Kleeneze and failed, I lost half my books in the first 2 weeks and did not get enough sales to make up for the cost of the replacements.

    Gareth,
You've got to give a business a chance. Any genuine network marketing business will enable you to earn money. Most people just do not realise the amount of effort required to build momentum. Once you've got your business well on the road to success, it gets easier if you have found yourself a few good leaders. I've tried a few MLM companies over the years and have learned a few things.
    1. Your chosen company must have honest, trustworthy management.
    2. It must have excellent (most do) products or services and preferably at least one unique one.
    3. The pay plan must allow new people to earn a decent amount by just offering the goods or services.
    4. There must be no clauses in the company's Policies and Procedures that allow the company to dump associates without a really good reason. (Often the P&Ps will be exceedingly long documents that hide the nasty bits)
    5. There must be an easily duplicatable system for new people to follow in order to become successful.

My signature shows that I am with Telecom Plus. I have to say that I am moving away from them to concentrate on a company I found in April. This is because I am not so happy with 2,3 and 4. The new company's P&Ps are just six pages including pictures and it ticks all the other boxes too.

The bottom line is that hard work and perseverance will eventually pay off. Most people give up after a lack of instant success.

  • Hi

It depends what you are looking for from Betterware, Kleeneze etc, if its just an extra income without having to pay for books, without worry about banking money, etc then Betterware is the right choice, it is territorial but you will be the only person dropping off a Betterware catalogue unlike the other companys. I wouldn't judge just from one or two drops, it may be the area has had lots of different agents and they come and go because they don't get instant results, i suggest working the area for a while (say 3 brochures) and i bet you will be finding a good customer base. Some people like to see reliability and won't order until they see you are going to regular.

If its a Business Opportunity where you are effectively running your Biz then take a look at Kleeneze and similar but you will need to invest both more time and money with these and there are expenses and overheads. You will be competing against agents from same Company in your area.

Some people do get fed up with brochures coming through but there will always be people who buy from them, its just finding them and then deciding if its what you want to do and whether you are earning enough for the amount of time/effort you are putting in.

  • Hello again,

I'm really pleased with the fact that betterware is free and that I'm the only distributor in my area but if the income does not match the effort then I'm wasting my time.

  • How long have you been doing it?
If its less than 6 months i would give it a bit more time or explain to your Coordinator and see if they could give you a larger area where you may find some more customers.

I have only been doing it a week but I'm going to stay with it.

the reason it looks bad is because I do Avon aswell and thats doing well.
