Atlantic Gas and Electric - 'Free' month

November should be my free month with Atlantic Gas and Electricity but they have taken the money out of my bank account as normal. Do I have to 'remind' them that it is my free month or will they refund it eventually?

Not sure when ours is due but I think it's the 13th month maybe0 -
Maybe there needs to be a marker set against your account like other Suppliers with their duel fuel discounts. Maybe when they set you up, someone didn't add it?

You'll get a refund to your bank account. But chase them up as in my experience it has always taken a phone call before they react. Alternatively, e-mail them - they are pretty good at responding within a couple of days.

but how does this free month work.
i am with atlantic and have had gas on credit meter for 4 years and electric on pre pay for 4 years
just gone on credit meter for electric, so will have gas and electric on duel fule
interested to know what this free month is

Just had 2x letters from Atlantic - one for each of Gas and Electric. The rebate is already in the account from which the direct debit is paid. Didn't have to prompt them at all.
