Suggest you read this Thread for more info on how to unlock your Nokia 7600.

However, having used Trycktill (mentioned in the above thread), I make your code:-

    #pw+148044167672257+7#

    Instructions below:-

#pw+xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx+1# (where 'x' is the code as listed above)

    0. Remove sim-card and power on phone
    1. Press ( # ) on your phone
    2. To get ( p ) press ( * ) 3 times within 1sec
    3. To get ( w ) press ( * ) 4 times within 1sec
    4. To get ( + ) press ( * ) 2 times within1sec
    5. Enter the 15 digit code
    6. To get ( + ) press ( * ) 2 times within 1sec
    7. Enter code number
    8. Press ( # ) on your phone

Some phones if you take a while to enter the unlock code clear the screen and therefore you will have to re-enter it again.

Now your phone should be unlocked!

For more info/help there are several MSE users in the above thread.

    Hope this helps!

    Browntoa,

Thanks I didn't know it mattered if it was PAYG or Contract!

Is this true of all networks or just certain ones (like 3)?

In the past I've always just used the Trycktill site and not had any probs unlocking (except 3220 as didn't exist which I got round by use the code for 3200) but there again I think most phones I've unlocked have been PAYG I think anyhow.

there are three settings fir the 7600, the original box serial which most of the calcs use, then the 2 new ones that started with the Carphone warehouse cheapo's...the settings i mentioned above

the only other wierd ones at the moment are the 3120 + 3220 on Orange that seem to want the box serail changed to Asic6 32821

Ah right, thanks. Like I said I always use Trycktill and having just unlocked a 3220 from Orange I checked their site, the box serial is indeed 32821 (Prodigy).

To be honest I've never (touch wood) had to bother with which box serial to use and use the default one of Trycktill which would appear to be the box serial you mentioned but I will keep my eye on that in future unlocks.

    Thanks again.
