you don't need to press enter, it should just reboot after the last # ??
ignore the spaces in my code...ignore the insert sim message when you turn the phone on
try the other sim in case it workedEx forum ambassador

I know! i was being to slow that's all! Is it cheeky to ask for another code, for my nephews phone? Samsung E600 Orange network - 353132009102090 Plus Samsung V200 Tmobile - 351548000272297 Alcatel Orange - 35161700675053-9 ....he's selling them!0

Not sure about other manufacturers phones maybe Browntoa can help more?
However, using CyberGSM v5.4 code unlocker, the code for the Samsung v200 is:-
*2767*7822573738#
There was no entry for the Samsung E600 but one for the E700 so you could try:-
*2767*688#
or #*7337# for new phones
The above may not work so unless Browntoa has more of an idea! Not sure at all about Alcatel.
Maybe best to see if Browntoa has more of an idea before trying the above!0 -
Just a word of warning if your phone doesn't seem to function properly. I bought 2 units of 7600 locked on 3 and they didn't work properly on Orange after a simple code unlock. Apparently the phone is progammed to look for a for a 3G network first!

if the above v200 code doesnt work try this:
V200 unlocking procedure:
Enter each line and wait for handset to fully reboot before entering the codes on the next line.
After the last set of codes have been entered the handset will be unlocked - BUT REMEMBER - back up your phone book etc first!!
*2767*63342#
*2767*3855#
*2767*2878#
*2767*927#
*2767*7822573738#
what model is the alcatel?
i dont know of any free e600 codes
ref 7600
these need to have a factory reset done to stop the signal dropping problem after unlocking.
i can still do these for £4 to mse members, which includes charity donation after postage is taken out0 -
and I can do these 7600's reset's the same way if you live near me in KentEx forum ambassador

Sorry, it was just a guess. As mentioned the phone you wanted was not listed so just chose the nearest one (e700).
Can anyone else help or any idea?
Failing that it may involve a trip to local phone shop to unlock via cable. Most phones (apart from Nokia) do unfortunately require it unlocking via cable.0
