There is no need to install any ISP's crap on your PC.

    AOL service is the pits.

how do you do it then? is it a simple case of: knowing the dial up number, username and password?

There is no dial-up number for broadband as your specific line is ADSL enabled. Basically you simply enter your username/password into the router provided i.e. the router connects to AOL and then your PC or PC's talk to the router either via Ethernet of wireless.

I have been with AOL for roughly four years and never had any complaints with them.

    Would highly recommend. :T

AOL service is pretty good. Been with them for years and only 1 day my connection was dodgy. Had an email the following day from AOL saying sorry.

    Relaible service IMO.

My only gripe is its pretty pricy compared to other providers

    How you get that price?
  • I was with AOL for about 5 years until last year and I thought they were abysmal. Until I joined Talk Talk, that is.
