Thanks Moggins, all set for tomorrow as I have workmen at the house all day so no excuses not to get through your list.

I would like to say a big thank you to all who fly, I joined just over two weeks ago and although I have not managed everything every day I did feel that I had made some progress with the house, but after being away for a night this weekend and coming home to a clean and tidy house - the joy in walking through the front door and seeing tidy rooms and a clean kitchen put a smile on my face, so thanks all for posting on here, it makes me determined to post what I have to do each day and then to make sure that I do it.

So here goes with Mondays list -
Dailies - WM, DW, BEDs, Lunches, hoover lounge/hall/dining room, bathroom SS, walk dog and wash dogs bedding.
    Moggins list in full
Nightimes - clothes out, dishes away, and quick lounge tidy.

    Hopefully see all tomorrow.

PS I have also found that over the last two weeks with meal planning, what i have spent over two weeks I used to spend in one!

    Thanks Moggins,

Love doing the kitchen.. Last night I made curry for tea. Watched tv/dvd with kids, when I was going to bed I realised I hadn't done the dishes. I wasn't in the mood but couldn't face coming down to a dirty kitchen in the morning smelling of curry and dirty dishes. So decided to quickly do them and this morning... I was so happy with my clean kitchen, :j Thanks to the flying...

Making sure all is well with uniforms and dishes before going to bed...

    Happy flying tomorrow everyone.

I have read this thread for a while now, and keep meaning to join in... however i alwys made an excuse, or just read about it instead of doing it lol

I have moved into a new house this weekend though and i am going to start 'flying' in the hope i will be organised (as such) from the word go so it will be easier to keep it that way??

My biggest problem though is i have a 4 year old and a 4 week old and my baby obviously take sup a lot of time and leaves me shattered. I keep using her as an excuse though and i need to work round her.

I am still surrounded by boxes but my bathroom and my kitchen are both unpacked so will attack your list tomorrow after the school run and hope to get clothes put away in the bedrooms too....as we are living out of a case at the min.

I will keep you updated how i get on and keep your fingers crossed that Mia sleeps and lets me get on with it lol

The kitchen and bathroom were done today :j . Is it just me or is anyone else finding the house spotless on Friday and loking like a **** tip on Sunday  . Short of tying the family up all w/end and not allowing them to move  don't really know what to do  . So tomorrow I can either do bit of paperwork and tidy up of hall OR I can tackle bedrooms AGAIN

    Good luck Simba-25

Awwww 4 weeks old, how lovely, you must be so tired though.. Just do what you can, even a few things are better than nothing at all.. It is amazing how ten minutes here and there make a big difference.. I have only been doing this flying for a few weeks now and the house looks so much better, still lots of room for improvement.

How long does it take to do all this in your house? Am wondering if I'm taking too long over things...when I go back to work I would like to keep this up but am unsure if I'll be able to. Some timings would be helpful esp to us who are new to all this....thanks
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

  • i expext it takes lot longer the 1st few times you do it but once you get into a routine it should be quicker
