e2save not paying money4me commisions, help !
Hi,
e2save owes me money4me (over £150) commisions and are refusing to pay unless I furnish them with details of my friends' mobile no, address, customer no etc. The trouble is I emailed my friends via my hotmail contacts list which is over 100+ emails long ! How is it possible to trace who purchased or who did not? I suspect E2save is very well aware of this and are trying to scam people under their MOney4Me referral programme. Furthermore, this condition is not stipulated in their Terms & Conditions.
I have approached them twice via email (also escalated to director) but they're giving me the same bloody response to my explanation and are adamant to their decision ! I'm very fed up .
Does anyone here have a similar experience with e2save.com ? I would definitely take this matter further with external bodies e.g. Trading Standards, BBC Watchdog or appropriate organizations. Let me know and perhaps we could work something out in black and white.
Regards

I had a big problem with them a few months ago.I had ordered the Nokia 6230 on a bt contract. When i found out bt use the t-mobile network i rang e2 up saying i was returning the phone as t-mobile sucks for reception where i live. They emailed a return number and the phone was sent back and even registered on their site as returned a few days later.
Thats when the problem started as after a few weeks i got a bill from bt for £20.00.I rang them and told them i didn't have the phone anymore and had returned it to e2 etc.Bt told me to ring e2 and get someone from there to ring bt confirming that phone had be returned etc,so i rang e2 and was told they would ring bt right away and tell them what they needed to be told.To cut a long 7 month story of getting a bill off bt going up £20.00 each month,me ringing bt then e2,e2 telling me they would ring bt etc etc etc.
Well in January this year i got a letter off a debt company saying i owed £120+ and if i didn't pay it they would take me to court and add even further cost.So i rang bt again then e2 demanding to speak to the manager, after 5 or so minutes of arguing with the person on the phone that i would keep ringing all day until they let me speak to the manager, they finally put me through to one and i stayed on the phone with him till bt rang me on my mobile confirming they had received a phone call from e2 saying that the phone was returned months earlier and the contract cancelled etc etc.
After speaking to bt the reason for all the hassle was that because e2 had not informed bt the phone was returned and the contract cancelled someone had to pay the bill and e2 were trying to get out paying it and pass it on to me for their mistake.I'm sorry this has nothing to do with you getting your money from them but i just thought i would let you know what sort of comapany you are dealing with.......©..®..(TM) NothingVentured.

Ive made a few referals and they NEVER pay unless you call them and hassle them.
They always ask for stupid things like postcodes etc - I dont know some of my family members postcodes - why should I? I never write to them!
It sucks!Bismillah0 -
Shall I write to them and ask for my commission payments? I don't have any customer details because I've never referred anybody. Surely they are not asking too much for you to have some identification of the people you have passed to them?0

Write to them and tell them you have published details of this on this website, for all to see. A good number of their sales will be attributable to this website. Therefore it could be equally bad for them if they were to suffer some bad press on here.
As I see it, the referral number should be adequate for them to be able to see and verify those you have referred. If they had wanted anything more elaborate doing during the referral process then they should have said so at the point when they were happy to accept your referrals.0 -

As they say...it's a "refer a friend" scheme.
If you don't know the people that you are referring such that you can obtain the information that they ask of you then I guess you should be using their affiliate scheme, not their money4me scheme.
While they shouldn't really need to be nudged into payment, I can't help but think that this is a sensible mechanism to prevent their money4me scheme being abused by spammers.
For the record, they generally don't need to be reminded to obtain a payout through any of their affiliate schemes - it just seems to be a commonly occuring feature of their refer-a-friend scheme.
RMFor anyone wishing to contact me privately to ask me a question, can I ask that you email me directly as my PM box is often full.0 -

I disagree on the basis that they have not made any such stipulation or condition clear on their website at the outset.
If they require names and addresses and other details, then they ought to say so from the start. People could then decide whether or not to take the trouble to refer people.
I believe that it is likely that e2save are attempting to avoid making payments due to people.0 -

As I have said before, I agree - they really shouldn't have to be nudged into making payments.
However, it states its for "friends and family" on their money4me page and asking for information that only friends and family can easily obtain is perfectly acceptable if it prevents abuse by spammers. It's just that they should be doing the running on this by approaching referrers for this info on a random sample basis, not waiting for referrers to contact them.

But on their page it does not say that there is any requirement other than to post the hyperlink to as many friends and family members as you like. What defines a 'friend' is debatable. Anyway. they make it appear that they will take care of everything after the referral.
It is grossly wrong of them to start creating obstacles after the event.0 -
Ahh, these bunch if **** !
I have had the exact same problems as everyone else here, I phoned them up and let a few choice word out, and hey presto, they paid up
Also had them try and put us on 18 month contracts and not 12 month as required, once the contract is up we are gone.
Never again
ps. if you are calling their customer services us https://www.saynoto0870.com to get the NGN and use 18866 as you will be holding for some time !!
