Don't know if posted already but Just in case anyone didn't know and who can make the trip to Edmonton North London, Ikea are opening a new store on the 10Feb and have limited time offers.
offer timings for 10th February
between 00:01am - 3am
3 - seat leather sofa, special purchase of £45.**
BRATTBY 2 - seat sofa, special purchase of £45.**
between 3am - 8am
HAGALI double bed frame, 140cm.£91.00 on sale £30.00**
between 8am - 12noon
DINERA 18 piece dinner set £20.00 on sale £4.00**
between 12 noon - 4pm
NORDEN dining table £135.00 on sale £35.00**
between 4pm - 8pm
Any BILLY beech bookcase between £29 - £55 at £10.00**

That's the million dollar question.
I really need a new sofa so I'd definitely travel down there at midnight if I could be guaranteed that I'd actually get one.
They are listed as available between midnight and 3am so that would suggest that as long as you buy then you get it....but I have a sneaking suspicion that it will be limited to the stock they have in-store - in other words only a few.
I would *not* be happy to be at IKEA at 1am being told, "Sorry, sir, we've sold out and you can't order at this price".0 -

I used Ikea's online interactive chat help facility to ask about likely stock levels on the bargain items. My reply:
"With Edmonton not being open till the 10th of Feb at this moment in time we do not have any stock information, the only thing i can suggest is to contact us nearer to the time of opening and we can see what we can do.
Q: Thanks, when should I contact you again?
REPLY: Might be worth trying the day before or on the day."
Not a lot of help, really.
Will see if I can get a reply from their head office. They must have a policy for such things.
EDIT:
They don't have a head office as such, as apparently there are franchises involved and all sorts, but finally managed to speak to someone who said that they know there are about 300 sofas going in, but didn't have any more information than that.
I should think the other items are likely to be available in similar numbers, so there is a good chance of getting a bargain.

I've looked on the Ikea site and can't find the BRATTBY sofa listed. Does anyone know what it's like or have a link to a picture of one?
