Check out the half price ntl family package - £9.75 for 6 months then £19.50 for the remaining 6 months. For existing customers only, so if you're paying full price, you might as well renew your contract and get 6 months half price, I did!

im confused fait .. if its foe existing customers only, why do you have to renew your contract.. ive already got this package aswell so will it apply to me?

They will not do it automatically for you. Its on offer to existing customers who upgrade to the family pack from the base pack. If you are already on the family pack its tough, you will still be charged full price. You need to ring CS and point out that you are not happy with this and can you have it at the offer price. I did and they were happy to drop the price. Be forceful with them but polite.

Spot on Shanta - I saw the offer on their site, called up and the girl didn't have a clue about what I was talking about. After she looked it up on the internet, she processed it straight away! Basically a £60 saving. Hope this helps a lot of people, I've done it and so has my sister - really silly that it's not made obvious on ntl's site.

Have just phoned NTL and the sales man said couldn't do the £9.75 for 6 months as I already had the family pack on contract (for £30.50pm) BUT would reduce my phone bill by £8.50pm from now on.

Worth a phone call methinks-thanks to OP.

I have been with NTL for over 3 years using Broadband, telephone & TV package. After seeing programme on BBC2 phoned up NTL and said I wanted to cancel as it was too expensive. Got £10 month discount for having all 3 packages, 1/2 price on broadband for 6 months and 1/2 price on my TV Family package - halved my monthly bill saving nearly £40 month. After 6 months will phone them again.:T

Hi Everyone,

Things sounds great but i don't fully understand.

I am on the TV/phone/broadband £30.50 per month package. I was thinking of upgrading my TV package, is there any potential saving for me with this?

YAY! Just called NTL, and said i had seen the offer online and could I take it up. The operator asked what the ad says, and I told him it says '*Offer open to existing customers only'.

He put me on hold for a minute then came back and said that was fine!
So i have Half price family bundle for the next 6 months!!

Phoned, got straight through, checked what I had, (Family Pack), asked can I take advantage of your half price offer for existing customers, she said yes, all done in under a minute!!!!!!!!
