Some people just don't have the time.
The reason I won't go and pick Blackberries is because when I was 12 and living in Dorset I went with my mum and trying to get as far into a bush as I could and I put my foot on a Adder. The thing was about 4 feet long and it bit me. Had to be rushed to hospital very quickly. That was a day I will never forget.
I am happy to pay for them to go into my Blackberry and Apple pies. I do however pick Apples for free when I can get them.3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0 -
We picked bowls of lovely yummy blackberries yesterday from the edge of our lane next to our house. Due to pollution from traffic we are quite limited to where we can get them but we had some beauties yesterday.

I love picking food for free. Every year, I pick blackberrys, plums, pears, walnuts, and mushrooms. I'm always on the lookout for more places to pick from. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

If I knew where to find them, they'd be on my list for sure. I eat everything I pick, but if I found truffles, they'd be up for sale! How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

First find your pig! I remember watching Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall going truffling, and trying to train his sow :rotfl: The person he went with blindfolded him on the way to and from the site so he couldn't go back and take them all!
If you're looking for them, just go down a quiet country lane and look in the hedgerows. I can almost guarantee they will be there
Seriously, they're a pest, we have to keep removing them from our garden, it's like kudzu! 0 -
