I received a letter today from Citi card advising my account was being transferred to CC Asset management. Also the cl is being reduced to £3000. That for me is no problem as I never use the card.
They are under the SAV cc umbrella which deals with sub prime cards.
Apparently CITI sold all their CITI cards in the UK to them.

Interesting, will see if I get that letter too.
I just have a bog standard card with them with no offers. Its silver in colour.
They tried to get me to sign up for an egg card but I declined.0 -
Thanks for that. Used to have a Citi card a year or so ago and never had any problems with them. Guess I won't be using them again if they have indeed pulled out of UK.0

I got the same letter today reducing it to 3100..... Always pay mine straight off so not really a problem for me0

As most of you know that Citi own EGG but this appears to be unaffected by the transfer. I only have an Egg money card and use it for the cash back.0

I got the same letter yesterday, saying it was reducing my credit limit to exactly what it was before - hmmmmmm, I wonder what impact will this have on Citi cardholders and why this has happened? I still have a balance outstanding on it.Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

Still not checked my posts yet, anyone have a linky on the company thats taking over?
I always rememebr my first credit card issued by Associates who at the time weren't that big I don't think (Year 2000) and small companies tend to give better service although I expect that it would of been a big company to buy the likes of citi out.0 -
I've had a quick look for a link and can't find anything which I thought was a bit strange, I'll have a proper look when I have a bit more time, I'm begining to think I should have taken the option to close my account when they hiked the interest rate.Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0
