I've been in for 2 reviews, the last one being about 2 months ago. I have not taken any extra products and not been paid £25. Is this a new offer?

I thought about this. But trouble is £25 isn't alot for an hour of them trying to sell to you. You may as well go on one of these time share 'free' holidays.

Fab, hadn't noticed this before, and it's there in my offers. Think I will book myself in for later in the week as I have a couple of days off, and they have no chance whatsover of selling me anything!

It would have to be a full finanancial review and they can go on for 2-3 hours just with information gathering. Most reviews tend to be limited (targetted on one or two areas) and that wouldnt qualify you. £25 for that time is pointless. Got to feel sorry for those that buy one of their products as well.

If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.

Has anyone arranged one of these and been on it?
How long did they keep you captive for?

Hmm, I suppose it depends on how complicated your finances are, and how much you're willing to tell them. I mean, if you don't mention the huge inheritance and all the offshore bank accounts, they can't spend any time asking about them surely? ;)

Seriously though, my affairs are very simple, I'm only in my mid-20s, I rent rather than having a mortgage and I have no dependents, my pension is run by my employer. I have very few existing financial products for them to ask about (except for the stoozing credit cards and savings account and I don't intend to mention those). I am absolutely not going to be sold anything. On that basis, I'm going to call them tomorrow and ask them how long the review should take...
