Here we are again! After some big successes in our January and Feb challenges, we're off for month number 3!

This challenge has been fab for me - I havent bought a single lunch since the start of the year, and I know its served as an inspiration to other people as well.

    Thanks for running the challenges!
  • Ermm at the risk of sounding really stupid I am not sure I understand the challenge? Is it that you are bringing lunches in from home (brought) or that you buy (fewer) lunches (bought) from work?

Kinda both, I think: it you are bringing lunch from home, you don't have to buy it.

Essentially, it's not buying lunches out.

The major plus for me outside of the money saving, is knowing what is in your lunch and who made it. I've seen some grim things in food preparation.

Count me in again although my challenge will run up to 26 March as we fly out to Tenerife on that date. We're not going self catering this time (usually when we do we do not buy lunches when away but prefer to make sandwiches in the apartment) however we are going half board and considering we have both lost a lot of weight since Jan I'm hoping we won't do lunch!

I'll put myself down for 4/5 lunches a week though as I've found that sometimes I get caught out if I'm out shopping at lunch time. x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Please can you put me down for '20 days bringing lunch from home' as i have 3 days off work in March.

This is great- I've saved so much extra money in Jan & Feb purely from not buying lunch, and I've lost weight too and feel fabulous!
