I know this is not the right place to put this thread. But I'm really looking for helps as I’m suffering a panic shopping experience at Mr T and really looking for some helps with shell I complain to their HO of shell I sue them?
The thing was happened last Sat. I went to shopping at Mr T after job as usual. After I paid off my shopping and just past their entry door out, a man behind me put a big bag on top of my head. (Here I have to say that--the bag is not the shopping bag--is the big bag that used to cover Mr T’s big secure detect that set next to the door.) I didn’t know what happened at that moment, so as soon as my sight turns to black, I begun to screaming, because I saw the security was stand next to the door before, and I hope he can help me. But sadly no one bothered.
Then the guy behind me who put the bag on my head has begun laughing. And continued pull the bag until it covered my body. During this period I never stopped screaming, but I was so scared so cannot move at all. Then next thing was the guy hug me from the back and dragged me and finally put me on the floor and walked away. After I took off the bag, I found I been dragged back to the store and surrounding by some horrified customers.
I saw the security was only about 10 feet away from me and a guy hung on him was laughing at me. The security didn't say anything at all and even didn't bother to offer me a help. I was so shocked so when one of their staff came to me and told me should go home and relax; I did, as my mind was blank at that moment.
Then this Monday(just past), I went back to Mr T again and asked their security manager if he can tell me what happened, he said he has no idea as no one mentioned about it. But he did checked their security record and noticed all the thing then told me should report to the police which I did after all.
Police went to me this Wed. But then I found that the guy who hung on with the security that day was the guy who assaulted me. He is not the member staff of Mr T but not sure if the security knew him. I’m so… annoyed as he saw the thing happened right in front of him but did nothing at all. So I wondered should I complain to their HO or should sue them?

So I wondered should I complain to their HO or should suit them?
What would you 'suit' them with? A city pin-stripe? Tuxedo? How about a nice Linen“Don't do it! Stay away from your potential. You'll mess it up, it's potential, leave it. Anyway, it's like your bank balance - you always have a lot less than you think.”

Why are Tesco to blame for some random nutter ? What are you going to sue them for?0

Well they have a responsiblity to make sure their premise are safe. He should have at least been banned, rather than standing there having a chat with his mate the security guard.0

Hello, Red_ Panda,
What did the police suggest you do?0 -

that's really not very nice
Red_Panda, I suggest you do what the police told you to do...it's quite appalling that this would happen at Tesco, and I would definitely complain to the company. It's their duty to keep their premises safe from assault, and it's even worse that the security guard was laughing at you.Undergrad law student. Take my advice with a pinch of salt! :rotfl:0 -
I hope the Police have collected the CCTV footage from the store?
I would ask for a copy and sent it to Tesco H.O. and also find out which company employs the security guard. Most of them aren't employed by the stores they work in.0 -

Lighten up a little. If someone's written English skills are that bad, they really have to expect a little teasing. Call it encouragement into adult literacy classes“Don't do it!
