How about a board for 'Ethical moneysaving'? This could be a place to ask questions like 'Where are the cheapest Organic/Fair trade Bananas?' or information like 'ABC Electric Co. provide power only from Wind farms and will match the price of you local supplier'.
Yes, I know these questions can be asked in other sections, however I think a specific board would be monitored by ‘experts’ and would produce more knowledgeable advise (E.g. just like the gambling board).
P.S. I am not, by a long shot, an environmentalist. However I do sometimes wonder if I can moneysave and still be an ethical consumer.

thats a good idea..advice on recycling..farmers markets..fruit and veg co-ops etc...

I think it's a good idea too. i'm pretty new to moneysaving and previously bought everything fair trade and / or organic.

I think it would be a greatassetto the forum..
i thought about it this weekend whilst reading about the almighty beast that is walmart..and how it threatens local traders..
notto mention the carbon miles such a corporation racks up shipping i.e apples from thousands of miles away to sell in supermarkets in somerset, where far superior apple farmers are slowly dying through lack of income....pah!Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0
