Welcome to the weekly Flylady thread. If you need help organising your week when it comes to housework, or just the motivation to do the dreaded housework tasks you have to do, come and join us, hopefully make it a little easier. You never know, you might start to enjoy it!
Following requests to start things steadier for new members who did not realise the tasks list wasn’t a must do, just an encouragement. There will now be level 1, 2 and 3. Level 1 being very basic it has been requested that this is just one task per day, level 2 in the middle, up to 3 which is more advanced and time consuming. If you want to do level 2 you add the tasks on level 1 with the level 2 tasks, if you want to do level 3 you add the tasks on, easy peasy. Choose a level to aim for but be realistic, if you’ve got a busy day on or are just starting etc aim for level one, if you get higher then great, if not then not to worry its only suggestions. Every room comes back around next week. Trust me some days I'll only be doing level one myself.
THESE LISTS ARE ONLY SUGGESTIONS AND NOT A MUST DO LIST, ALWAYS WELCOME TO POST AND FOLLOW YOUR OWN.
Also adding a declutter mission each day. Another one where it’s up to you if you want to do it or if you need to. This follows requests from members who are looking to declutter. Fling boogies, hotspot clearing, cupboard sorts, drawer sorts etc will all be on this list. Any problems with this of any suggestions do please let me know.
A few of the basics before we start the week
Hotspots are any areas which if one thing gets put there, loads of other things follow!
Daily routines are anything you need to do on a daily basis like washing, swish and swipe kitchen and bathroom, ironing, making beds, vacuuming high traffic areas, making meals etc
Night-time routines are all things which make getting ready in the morning easier, preparing clothes for the next day, making lunches, swish & swipes of the kitchen and tidying the living room before you go to bed plus personals like shower/brush teeth etc.
Fling Boogie - stick on some loud music, grab a binbag and whizz around the house finding items that can go out with the rubbish, recycling, for charity shop, basically anything that will stop it cluttering your home.
Swish and swipe/S&S means have a quick wipe over an area such as a sink or toilet to prevent the build up of dirt. This is usually done on a daily basis
HHE/HHC/HHI Half Hour exercise/challenge/ironing ... run around for 30 minutes to the Benny Hill music frantically cleaning exercising or ironing.. other music may be used if you prefer!
5GC five minutes gardening.. make it lovely for your family and enjoy it!

This is the list of flyers who have completed a day's list. I will amend it here as and when I see you complete your days!
1. You don't have to complete the daily on the same day to get your star but try and do some in the week to give yourselves more free time at the weekend
2. Remember the 'extras' are extras and don't count towards the stars!
3. Please make it obvious when you have finished a list so that I know you need a star - for example Monday Done!
4. If you dont have something on the list then it gets deleted - e.g. clean out pets - if no pets no cleaning out done - delete!
5. Similarly when it says childrens rooms then you should substitute spare room/utility room/conservatory...etc if you have no childrens rooms.
6. If you have no spare room or any other room not on the weekly list then make sure you do any thing thats on that list that you haven't already done earlier in the week and try to substiture similar type jobs - make an effort please!!
7. You should not be deleting stuff just because you CBA!!
8. You may delete stuff if you are not physically fit to do something!
9. And for goodness sake remember that the stars are for FUN - there will be no discrimination - no sulking - no striking - no bribing- no cheating - or there will be no stars!!! so there!!
Last week there were 120 stars awarded with 5 flyers doing all five days lists.
w/c 27/7 - 120 (5)
w/c 20/7 - 122 (6)
w/c 13/7 - 139 (13)
w/c 23/5 - 128 (14)
w/c 06/4 - 202 (21) (new total to beat)
And 13 red heart awarded with 1 flyers doing all of the five extra jobs on their lists

hi I'm in...
update on the bikes
DS's fine - saddle now lifted - job done
Mine - original wheel with new innner tube now refitted (DS had swapped it for one off his old one) so my bike is fine now, too
BUT DD's 'new' inner tube let itself down so I put in another new inner tube (I bought 3 as they were 3 for 2) and that too won't stay inflated so I have two faulty inner tubes to return to Halfords tomorrow...and it means another day of getting messy.
It's taken me practically all day, although I was delayed starting as DD was having her new mirror fixed and SHE managed to suck a CONKER up the hoover tube so I had THAT to unblock (she arranges them around her bedroom because she doesn't like spiders. I have told her that if she dusts every week she won't have any:rolleyes:).
And I made a boeuf bourgignon (with dumplings because DS likes them) and I have done loads of washing.
I am shattered...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Oh am I on the right thread !??
Determined to do this, this week !! we have a birthday on Turesday - DS turns 8 so will need to plan a day out for that.
Bought his wall paper today - he is having Dr Who on feature wall and silver on the other 3 walls. Have also bought the gloss and undercoat for the skirting and doorframes AND we have priced up the laminate flooring and bed for his room. Had a productive day today.
just waiting for the Chicken to finish cooking and then we will have tea and flake out for the night !!
Not read back on the old thread yet so hope everyone is ok ((hugs))

Sorry but havent had a chance to read through last weeks thread, did briefly notice on friday night that there was a lot of rose flying around so hope no hangovers yesterday. Hope all poorlies are looking after themselves or getting their families to do so.

jjef re the braces DS needed lots of bonjela at the begining. He also had 'wax' to cover sharp bit. The eating might be soreness because the teeth are being moved though and not as a result of the brace rubbing - dentist advised soft foods and cautioned against many foods, especially at first. HTH
Soappie hope you're feeling better soon.
ETA OOh Iam almost at 5000 posts - better think of something erudite then...
I think I will sort through the washing and do a spot of ironing!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Is it cheating if I start Mondays list now or am I supposed to wait till tomorrow?
Don't want to claim stars if its cheating
