Cheers for the heads-up - didn't realise they had a 'free pass weekend' last week until I noticed 'I am Legend' showing on Sky 3 on the sturday night... was on Freeview as well!!Thank you very much! Will clear out the Sky+ and record lots! :j
Why? you wont be able to watch them after that weekend unless you subscribe to Sky Movies!
EDIT: Incidentally, if you subscribe to Sky, but not the movies and/or sport, it may be worth ringing them and quite openly asking if there are any offers available to you for these premium channels.
Last time they did this, I saw a post on here (and other forums) that if you rang to cancel, they'd give you the films for 3 months @ £5/month. I didn't fancy having my bluff called if I rang to cancel, so when i did I just told them I was thinking of adding the movies to my package, and asked if there were any offers available - the girl went away to check and told them I had an offer of 3 months full movies pack for £5/month marked on my account - she even told me to cancel at the end of month 3 otherwise I'd start being charged full price for them.
If I hadn't rang and asked, i'd have never known the offer was there - and at the end of the day, they can only can only tell you there are no offers, and you dont risk them calling your bluff for threatening to cancel (which is another option to get cheaper movies/sport for a period of time).0 -

The list of films are a bit dull though.... its the kind of stuff all normal tv channels show over and over till you bored to death with them0

agree - the independant channeles like film4 and channel 4 show these films so it appears to be nothing new to run out and sign up to sky movies0
