Don't forget...you can also go via a cashback site (e.g. RPoints, Quidco etc...) to claim some extra cash back. Alternatively, if your favourite charity maintains a list of the necessary affiliate links on their website, you can also effectively gift the commission to charity by using their affiliate link prior to placing your order.
Failing that, I understand that Martin now has some affiliate links for mobile retailers - if he has any affiliate links for the abovementioned retailers you could do a lot worse than use his links prior to purchase as any money earned helps to pay for the continued maintenance and development of this site, with some money also donated to charity.
Disclosure: As everyone knows, I maintain a website that earns its keep from referring customers to retailers. However, as the purpose of this post is purely informational, I have refrained from including any links to my site. The only links you will find in this post are direct (non-affiliate) links to the retailers in question.

Thanks to RM for all the info. Browsing "Mobileoutlets" site they have the Sony K750i on 12 month free rental with Orange!!! Anyone know how reliable are they with the cashback side of things? Thanks.0
-
I did notice that they were slowly adding more deals to their site - I'll update the OP as things progress.
The only thing I can say that is definitely worth pointing out is that the second cashback claim is only payable after you have submitted two separate claims
(1) month 11 bill within 21 days of the date on the bill
(2) month 12 bill within 21 days of the date on the bill
The T&Cs are, in my view, decidedly vague in that some people have been known to assume that it is a single claim including both the above bills within 21 days of the date on the later bill. These people have been shocked to learn that they have forfeited half of their money.

"To claim the second half of your cash back entitlement, forward us your 11 and 12 months bill, again this must be with 21 days from the date shown on each of these bills. "
See what you mean!! One to avoid perhaps.0 -
Hi, Rm, what's the mean of "OVP O2 200", is a clearance or something else? and why there is a "O2" in it? Thanks so much.0
-
Orange has a range of tariffs where they copy the pricing structure of popular tariffs from other networks so "OVP O2 200" is Orange's version of the O2 200 tariff.
The OVP stands for [O]range [V]alue [P]romise - a sort of price match policy, if you like, although the Three network and its tariffs were never included in this range. This is also sometimes referred to these days as EQ or [EQ]uivalent. e.g. EQ O2 200.
The only major difference between Orange's O2 200 tariff and the original is that Orange is considered to be the home network for the purpose of defining what a cross-network call is.
