Getting a bit pished off now, since my last post on here I had another same email.
Just gone into my inbox now and I have yet another, plus whoever it is has also unsubscribed me from the MSE newsletter.
If there is someone with a problem with me, have some balls and spit it out instead of playing stupid games.

yes thats the standard email (ive forgot my password before)
i havnt ever had one sent out for no reason though?
has someone tried to log in under your username i wonder? although theyd have to be pretty dumb to try and reset the password... unless they know your email addy and password for that!
they send that email immediately after you request the reset btw, so whatever time it was sent is the time someone tried to hack you....

I 'last visited' yesterday at 2.15pm and that email is timed at 6.25pm? (Only got the email this morning and never came back on MSE until this morning)
God knows why anyone would try to get into my account here

Can you check the source of the email in your email client, as you got hotmail you can use outlook to import hotmail an check in properties0

It's a genuine MSE email, but I thought at first maybe it was a system error. Seeing as nobody else has reported getting one when they haven't requested a reset, now has me wondering why someone is pishing about?Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
Well you cant always be too careful, you have your email address in your profile it isnt difficult to forge headers for emails to make it look like its from some where else0

they are looking your password so they can spam the site with your good rep, ppl ignore spam from users who joined the site today and has 1 post.
I would change your EMAIL password as they may have comprimised your email account. Running malwarebytes antimalware (free) is also recommended as you may have a privcy leak.
