Hi, I'm a newbie to this forum and would mind if anyone can give me any advice for the following 'free' phones. I currently have a nokia 7600 on 3, which is nearing the end of its £2.99 a month contract.

http://mobileshop.co.uk/mobile-phones/o2/contract-mobile-phones/nokia-6030.php/PNEWO260300003
Anyone used any of these retailers and if so would you recommend them? Also anyone got any of the phones listed above?

i'm looking at these deals too
one i've seen is: http://www.phoneboxdirect.com/o2handsetdetail.asp?handset=Siemens%20SF65
Anyone had any cashback payments paid/not paid from phoneboxdirect?0 -
Apologies if posted elsewhere.
Various 12 months free line rental/free phone etc on 12 months contract offers available from www.coolnewmobiles.com and www.phoneboxdirect.com/ on o2, Orange, T Mobile and Three (CoolNewMobiles seems to have mainly o2 offers on 12 months free, Phoneboxdirect on Three, Orange and T mobile as well). According to their information pages, they are trading partners with Caudwell Communications (who also own Phones4U), howver, this does not necessarily imply they are more reliable.
Does anyone have any experience of cashbacks with these?
Many thanks

Mobileshop are thoroughly reliable in my experience.
Personally, I'd hang back for a couple of months and apply for an upgrade with 3 to their new LG U880 phone which is due end Nov/start Dec. Should be free to upgrade, the only drawback being you have to sign up to another 12 month contract - cheapest is £15 VideoTalk 100 (100 minutes talk, no free texts).0 -
Mobile Rainbow have some attractive cashback deals at the moment, but I would be wary of committing to a company that doesnt even give an address on their web site. I called them out of curiosity to find out where they are based. They are in Watford and the person I spoke to assured me that an address was in very small print at the bottom of the Contact us page--not on my screen-anyone see it.0

Mobiles are so confusing. Im leaning towards getting the contract with O2 which gives 750 anytime talk plus 750 texts for £35 per month. Then I see all these "free" contract phones and it throws me.
As a high user, is it not better to get the high free minutes and texts rather than the cheap contracts but higher costs for calls?
Head is spinning but I think I am right on this?0 -

Do you know if mobilerainbow.com are part of other companies, like carphone warehouse and phonebox direct, so when i need to complain to someone about my mobile i dont have to shout through the email...?Its better to close your mouth and appear stupid, than to open it and remove all doubt...:p0
