in It's gone, but was it any good?
Cracking price for this top-notch digital SLR.

Currently Mastercard is offering £100 mail-in rebate on any Canon 350D purchased in the UK between October-December. You can call Canon at 0870 5143723 to confirm the offer.

Thanks to everyone who contributed, here is the cheapest price found:

Currys website price (including body kit): £560.95
£40 off £500 discount code for curry (please search in voucher section): -£40
10% Instant Cashback if you go through Egg Money site (you will need to own a Egg Blue/Money Mastercard): -£52.10
1% Cashback on Egg Money spend: -£5.21
£100 mail-in rebate: -£100

Total price: An unbelievable £363.64!!! Plus apparently you could get a free 256Mb memory card if you register your camera with Canon.

Note if you hold out until 16 November, you could save a further £5.11 (Egg Money increases cashback to 2%), but personally I would not risk it because at this rate, stock will run out extremely fast.

    Not knocking the deal or the camera but I loathe the idea that the UK might end up with widespread adoption of the horrible American "Mail-in rebate" system.

    if u get the camera with the lens from currys for £599
    Use the £40 discount voucher
    £560 then go thru the egg site 10% via mastercard u get the camera for £503
    so the total is £403

    if u have one of the new egg mastercards, goto https://www.egg.com then look for card benfits > pick currys > order via this link only.

    then when u get charged on yr statement for £559 u will see £59 refund on yr egg statement too :)

    I've looked at the Egg site...can only see offer for 5% off at Currys ??

    Also, where is it advertised £100 off from Mastercard ?
