Welcome to the MSE forums thompson2008.
To coin a phrase from a popular advert, "I see trouble ahead."Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
Hope the guy who did it before will be OK.
He was always very helpful.0 -
oh no!!!......another disaster for British customers, by companies cost cutting.sanfly0

I just spoke to a guy in Primus who confirmed they had recently been told the Sales and Customer Service are being outsourced to India in Oct,and they are being made redundant.0

This is a pity. Not only for the customers but also for the staff. One employee in particular I have found very helpful and efficient. I think regular customers of Primus know who I mean. Let's hope he and his colleagues find other jobs soon.
At the moment it is an 0800 number to contact them on, wonder what it will be to phone India , 0871?

I wonder if you can break your contract with them over this, as i bet many of us here, signed up as they advertised a UK based call centre, are they breaking any terms and conditions doing this?
I've had billing problems for the last 4 months, i'd dread having to try and get some Indian call centre to sort anything out.
Right now, i am counting down the last few months of my 18 month contract, and it is back to BT for calls, and probably o2 for broadband.0 -
