Hi all,
I am looking at using something like the Egg money manager to bring all my accounts in one place. Is Egg the only such program and is it safe to use, what with all the password info etc?
Thanks for any help.

I have used it for about 2 years and have never experienced any problems at all.0 -
Thanks Mabel good to hear it works!
Its free for Egg customers so I think it might be worth opening an account with them just for the money manager.
Or are there other possible as good or better options ?
Cheers Si0 -

I can second that - I've used it for about 3 years. Very occasionally it has trouble loading one or other account but it's usually fixed within a few hours. Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!0 -

Thanks for the replies, especially the link noh.
ewise looks to be the future! Just a couple of questions.
Can you still do money transfers, set up standing orders and all the other internet banking stuff, or is it just balances?
How do other institutions eg lloyds feel about people using such a program and are you covered if you suffer a fraud/loss? This could be substantial with all your finances in one place.
Thanks for you help. Cheers Si0 -

All it is, is a glorified password manager that has links that will automatically log you into the relevant banks' internet banking sites, but also shows your last balances:How do other institutions eg lloyds feel about people using such a program and are you covered if you suffer a fraud/loss? They are generally against this sort of service, and some explicitly against it to the point they mention it in their T&C'sConjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0 -
I get a glitch when using Intelligent Finance - it says 'error in running scripts, do I want to continue?', I say yes and it works. This happens at every step of a bill payment and is a nuisance.
Otherwise, I think it is fab!0 -
wow, i've been needing something like this for years!!! my spreadsheet is a pain in the wotsit!
would i be right in thinking that whist the screenshot above only shows balances, the links take you through to the actual account summaries etc?0 -

No - better than that - the links automatically log you in to the actual banks' internet banking.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
