We're all going to Gretna Green on 27th Oct for the wedding - really looking forward to it.
And I promise not to think about nappy cakes, sock monkeys, hampers, candy bouquets all day :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Sounds like a fantastic day!!! Gretna green this time of year is lovely!!! My dad and step mum got married up there a couple of days before christmas and the whole service was lovely. They even got my son to use the hammer on the anvil which made my step mum cry as my son was a big part of the wedding, even had the rings sewn into a teddys pockets which he heldRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Oooh a day no no hubby or kids ... can I come :rotfl: Poor poor Cardiff
Have a great dayI have 5 nappy cakes to make up now ... friends of ours have had a baby this morning at 33 weeks by emergency section so I will probably make up a big cake using smaller nappies as its prem.

Oooh, wots one of those, a day without hubby and kids ...... that just doesn't exist for me anymore.
5 nappy cakes to make .... I wish I had just one to make for someone!!! :rotfl: After all that stress of finding stuff, now I have plenty and no more cakes to do.
Oh well, off to do the stall today, so fingers crossed. Got plenty of leaflets to take with me ....... been handing them to anyone and everyone who takes the slightest bit of interest.
They will probably think I am total nuts, what with nappy cakes, flannel cakes, jars of nothing, loo rolls, balls of life, bean bubble bath ..... maybe it is just as well that I didnt have time to finish the 'pickled bums' ..... they'd be locking me up !!A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0 -
